Texas Chainsaw Massacre "Jerry the Van Driver" Photo Signed by Allen Danziger
Photo of Jerry driving the van in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre signed by "Jerry", Allen Danziger
Background:
The shooting took place in the summer of 1973 in brutally hot and humid Texas conditions. Imagine seven or eight people in a van with no AC, lights, and 100-degree temperature and you get the picture. Despite these harsh conditions, I loved every minute while making the movie. I had noticed that during the shooting breaks that the girls would escape into the makeup trailer to cool off and have their hair and face fixed up. However, when I tried to do the same thing, they would come running over to me shouting "there was nothing they could do to fix your face!"
